# Assigning QR Codes to a Zone

QR codes are a way of finding equipment and work areas. To add a QR code to your equipment/area follow the following steps.

### 1) In the settings page of the central app find the zone you want to add a QR code to.

### 2) In the Zone details click the edit button.

3\) Click on the Round blue button at the bottom of your screen under the Assign QR code heading.

### 4) Scan the QR code.

### 5) Once the QR code is scanned click on the Update button to save the QR code.

Your Done.. You have just added a QR code to a Zone.
