# Equipment and Workplace Exams

Equipment and workplace inspections are critical to a safe and effective mining operation.

### Equipment

Equipment represents assets such as haul trucks, excavators, pumps, tools and more. Equipment have the ability to track hours, miles as well as fuel.

### Workplace

Workplaces are areas on your mining plant, example workplaces include: primary plant, secondary plant, pump stand, gravel hole and more.
